About La Brenda
La Brenda M. Norman is a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama. She has always been passionate about making sure individuals get a chance to do well and maximize their potential. A product of the Birmingham Public School System, La Brenda graduated from A. H. Parker High School. She went on to attend the University of Alabama in Birmingham majoring in Accounting, and receive the Bachelor of Science Degree.

For many years, she was the manager of her family’s business, Hall Printing Service as well as managing her family and her children’s education. After her children began their college journeys, La Brenda attended the Birmingham School of Law and was awarded the Juris Doctorate degree.
Her career in law began as a legal assistant for a local law firm. When the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office opened, she then became the executive assistant to the Public Defender. After two years in this position, she transitioned to the role of Clark-Clemon Fellowship Attorney. In this role she served and represented indigent citizens in the Criminal Courts.
La Brenda has over 30 years experience in managing, operating and leading businesses and community organizations.
The daughter of Tom W. Hall, Sr. and the late Sylvia F. Hall, La Brenda is married and the mother of three children and one grandchild.
