Andrew Cordonnier is a partner and the Corporate Tax practice leader in Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax office. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Cordonnier worked at Arthur Andersen at its national tax office in Washington, D.C. Cordonnier consults on various corporate and transactional tax matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, bankruptcies, debt workouts, Section 382 analyses, restructurings, IPOs, spinoffs, intangibles amortization, consolidated returns, and general corporate tax matters.
Cordonnier is a frequent speaker and presenter for various professional organizations, including the Tax Executive Institute, Bank Tax Institute, Atlas, the American Bar Association, various state bar associations and the Heartland of America Tax Conference. He has authored articles published in various publications, including the Journal of Corporate Taxation, the Journal of International Taxation, the Practicing Law Institute, the Tax Adviser, Tax Notes, Corporate Business Taxation Monthly (Advisory Board Member), Mergers and Acquisitions — The Monthly Tax Journal and Equipment Leasing Today.
